THE THANG:
Pax met at the Civic Center building at 5:15 AM for a 9/11 memorial WOD. Workout consisted of ascending and descending the 35 steps 63 times, for slightly more than 2,200 steps.  
Special mentions: Funky Bunch gets the game flag for mental toughness. He gutted it out for 60 minutes, even after splashing merlot. Crawlspace gets beast master for showing up 15 minutes late and still finishing in the top 5, all while wearing a plate. Total time took about an hour. 
COT:
Q gave a short memorial message reminding pax of how each day is a gift, and we never know when we're going to get out of bed for the last time. The 3F's were exemplified in the first responders: Physical readiness, a willingness to help others, and a spirit of self-sacrifice.
